Moving the almost-done piece from my workshop (Makeville.com) to my apartment in Park Slope.
Most of the final shaping is done with rough grit sandpaper on an orbital sander, but it was uneven, so the drawknife came in handy.
The final, extra-fine sanding is done by hand, with 400, 600, and even 2500 grit. In front of my apartment. That’s not a bench on the right, it is scrap plywood sheltering a big log for my next work.
